God shared with me today how we really need to be tuned into the God Channel more than ever before! We must focus in to what He is saying in this hour, so we can report accurately to others what He is speaking. He is the Anchorman and will keep us centered in His perfect will as we tune out all other distractions and all that’s interfering with our reception. He wants to provide the news, the weather, the personal interest stories, sports, music and business reports. The Good News: God has the good news of the Gospel for us to share with others, but we must be filled with it first. Then we can say as Jesus did, “ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to preach the Good News to the meek; He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” Is. 61: 1. Then we can tell of the Great Exchange that took place at Jesus’ crucifixion from Is. 53: 4 + 5 - how Jesus took our sickness and gave us His health; He took our poverty and gave us His wealth; He took our sin and bestowed upon us His righteousness. According to II Cor. 5: 17-21, we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ when we became new creations in Him! Jesus has reversed the curse that came upon mankind in the Garden of Eden, we read in Gal. 3: 13 + 14. God so loves us that He gave His only begotten Son as the redemption price to buy us back from the enemy. John 3: 16. Now if we only believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. Rom. 10: 9 + 10. The word “ Sozo” in the Greek entails all the fullness of salvation, soundness, healing, wholeness, preservation, safety: soundness spirit, soul and body! That’s Good News to everyone on the planet. Become a Daily Planet reporter, like Clark Kent, and report to your generation what Jesus Christ did for them. Get filled with the Holy Spirit and become like Superman delivering those in peril and disaster! You can be empowered to do the “Greater works” of John 14: 12 and Mark 16: 15-18, when you receive the power from on high that Jesus promised to those who would believe and obey Him. Acts 1: 8 + 2: 1-4. That’s exciting news to everyone who is hungering and thirsting for more of God and desiring a vision for their life! The Gospel means good news, so read it every day so you can pass on the report of the Lord! ( Is. 53: 1) And God will show you things to come- tomorrow’s news today, as you study prophecies concerning our time. Wow! You can be a forecaster. The Weather: Today’s forecast- it’s going to be windy and rainy, cloudy and sunny! When the Mighty Wind of Acts blows into your life, you can be assured that your life will be impacted! God will rain down righteousness ( Hos. 10: 12) and salvation shall spring forth. The weighty glory cloud of the presence of the Lord will come upon you and the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings! Mal. 4: 2. Every day is a new adventure in the Lord when you’re tuned in to the God Channel! Pay attention to the heaven vision, not the hellivision! Call unto Him and He will show you great and mighty things that you know not! Jer. 33: 3. Jesus gave a weather report in Math. 16: 2 + 3 and admonished the people that they should be able to discern the signs of the times. Tune in to God’s weather report, whether it’s sunny or cloudy today- you’ll discover you need to put on the robe of righteousness and garment of praise in order to be dressed appropriately for tomorrow! Remember, as far as God is concerned “ It’s not the heat; it’s the humility” that counts. The Personal Interest Stories: The God Channel also gives praise reports. Today there are more testimonies of healings, miracles, manifestations of the Spirit and power than at any other time in earth’s history! Watch Benny Hinn or TBN or listen to Christian radio! These eye witness accounts will build your faith to obtain a few breakthroughs of your own. We should always have a fresh testimony ourselves of the great things God is doing, to pass on to the man in the street. That’s how we overcome according to Rev. 12: 11. We are called to be Christ’s witnesses and to tell those around us, for otherwise they might not hear. And people who know you are likely to be very interested in hearing what happened to you because they relate to you. Go tell it on the mountains! The Sports: Everyone is watching the Olympics as I write this. We can tune in to the sports God likes best and become spiritual athletes ourselves. We’re no couch potatoes! Christianity is a participatory event. Proper diet ( of the milk, meat and bread of the Word), exercising our faith, stretching ourselves and getting the right amount of rest ( in the Lord) are all crucial for us to become strong in the Lord and victorious sportsmen. Sports are re-creational. We are recreated in Christ Jesus and ordained to do exploits in His Name. Be a spiritual Samson and flex your muscles. The competition will flee in terror! Power Walking: We are called to walk by faith, in the truth, in love, in the Spirit, worthy of the calling wherewith we are called. We must walk the walk, not just talk the talk. Fishing: We are meant to be fishers of men, so let down your nets in the deep for a draught! Sailing: Let the Holy Spirit breeze fill your sails to take you to your desired destination. Blow on us afresh, oh Spirit of the Living God. Stay in the fellow- ship of the Holy Ghost and you’ll get a good catch. Weight-lifting: First we lay down the sins and weights which so easily beset us. Then we bear one another’s burdens. But Jesus’ burden is easy and light. Build your spiritual muscles up in the Holy Ghost work-out from Jude 20. Running: We’re not involved in a hundred-yard dash. We are engaged in a marathon! Heb. 12: 1 + 2 and Phil 3: 13 + 14 give us tips on how to win the prize. Swimming: Look at Ezekiel’s vision in Ezek. 47: 5 to see the river we are called to swim in. God wants us to go in over our heads in living waters and new depths of the Spirit and the miraculous. Wrestling: We don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against demonic powers who have been dethroned. Through intercession, we can always obtain the victory in every bout with the devil! The Holy Ghost takes hold together with us against the foe to throw him down and put him into a choke hold. ( Rom. 8: 26-28 + 37) Flying: Read Is. 40: 31. Try your wings after waiting on God. You’ll discover new strength and ability! You’ll mount up close to God and see from the God’s eye perspective. Mountain-climbing: Like Caleb asking for the mountain when he was eighty -five years old, your energy won’t wear out for this sport. We can make spiritual progress upon our high places as it says in Hab. 3: 19 Amplified Bible. Then you can rest in the cleft of the Rock at the top of the ascent and hear God’s still, small voice like Elijah. You will realize that nothing is impossible to our God, who removes mountains by speaking to them and by shouting grace, grace to them! Mark 11: 23 and Zech. 4: 6 + 7. Surfing: Saints, there is a tsunami tidal wave of the Holy Spirit and glory which is about to crash upon the shores of humanity. His Spirit will be poured out upon all flesh! Ride the wave and keep your balance, by holding onto His Hand tighter than ever before! This is an awesome time in which we live- the most exciting time in earth’s history! Climb onto God’s surfboard and experience the thrill of a lifetime. Music: A good station wouldn’t be worth much without great music. Thank God, He has the best because it is anointed. We need to saturate ourselves in the anointing 24-7 if possible- at work, while driving, at home, at the beach. Worshiping the Lord brings you refreshing and peace. Then you can pass the new song onto others. Eph. 5: 18-20 tells us this is a key to being refilled daily with a fresh empowerment from heaven. I Thess. 5: 16-18 is the praise sandwich which truly satisfies our hunger. We obtain the victory through the high praises of God in our mouths and the two-edged sword in our hands. ( Ps. 149: 6-9) So enjoy the beautiful music of the heavenly sphere by staying attuned to God’s Channel throughout the day, with your mouth ever filled with His praise. Business Report: We are to be about the Father’s business. The wealth of the sinners is laid up for the righteous and God teaches us to profit. He has given us the power to get wealth in order to establish His covenant. His blessing makes us truly rich and He adds no sorrow to it. Jehovah Jireh, Our Provider has commanded the blessing upon us and upon all to which we put our hands. He is El Shaddai, the God Who is More than enough! Listen attentively to God’s business report and He will lead you in all your decisions. He will command the increase upon your storehouses and baskets. His will is that you prosper spirit, soul and body. His will is that we have an superabundance to give to others in need. Your will be done, oh Lord, as in heaven- so on earth. Be it unto us according to Your will!
